WATERING
Lay sod IMMEDIATELY as it is perishable.
Newly laid sod should be watered twice daily and deeply
for the first 2 weeks until rooting has established.
Frequent light watering results in shallow roots.
YELLOWING is due to lack of watering.
MOWING
Letting your grass get too tall will result in a less dense thatch.
Mowing too short will cause the grass to burn and increase weed infestation.
Make sure your blades are sharp.
FERTILIZING
Fertilizing every 4-6 weeks will ensure a healthy lawn.
Always choose a slow release fertilizer and follow the manufacturer's directions.
Be sure to water right after application so not to burn your lawn.
OVER-SEEDING
Over-seeding is great for repairs and lawn touch-ups.
Spread the seed evenly over the area.
Add soil and gently rake in the seed.
Gently water the area to kick start the growing process.
Keep the soil moist for 2-3 weeks.
